Our first lesson is based on Matthew 7:13-14.

Matthew 7:13
13 Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

We find many doors on our road of life. Life gives us the opportunity to knock on many doors. It always depends on us which door we want to knock. Some doors are big while others are small. These doors represent opportunities that life gives us. Some doors are very good while others are bad. Jesus gave us a lesson about how we should decide what opportunity to take by using doors as an example. He use the parabole of the two doors. The first door Jesus said is big and nice and its the one that most people want to use. It is easy to find and easy to have. This door represents the world and a life far away from God.
God wants us to different from the rest of the world. He wants us to follow him and not the path of this world. The small door is not attractive, it is small but is the one that God wants us to open. This door represents the path to eternal life. It leads to a very difficult path. This small door is not pretty it is hard to follow but it ends in happiness and peace. On the other hand life without God is may seem happy and we can do whatever we want but it ends in darkness and torment. It is very important to learn Gods Word so we can distinguish between the good and the bad door. I urge you to select the small door. This door is JesusChrist. He is the way to everlasting life. It will not be easy but at the end you will be with God forever.

13 Entrad por la puerta estrecha; porque ancha es la puerta, y espacioso el camino que lleva a la perdici�y muchos son los que entran por ella; 14 porque estrecha es la puerta, y angosto el camino que lleva a la vida, y pocos son los que la hallan.

Durante el caminar de nuestra vida nos topamos con diferentes puertas. La vida nos da la oportunidad de tocar diferentes puertas. Siempre depende de nosotros si queremos tocar a ellas. Algunas puertas son grandes y otras chicas. Las puertas representan oportunidades que se nos presentan en la vida. Algunas puertas son muy buenas y otras son malas. Esa misma experiencia nos la trajo nuestro Se�Jesucristo en una parabola muy hermosa donde compara nuestra decision de que camino tomar en la vida usando dos puertas. Una de las puertas es grande, facil de llevar y es la puerta a la cual la mayoria de las personas acuden. Esta puerta representa a el mundo, una vida lejos de Dios.
Dios quiere que seamos diferentes a los demas. Que no nos dejemos llevar por las cosas de este mundo sino que sigamos su voluntad. La otra puerta es chica, muy poco atractiva pero es la cual Dios quiere que usemos. Esta puerta representa el camino que sigue a Dios. Es un camino muy dificil de llevar ya que vamos en contra de la corriente. Pareciera ser no muy atractivo, mas su fin es de gozo y esperanza. Mientras que la vida sin Dios parece ser llena de alegria y pues podemos hacer lo que se nos venga en gana pero su fin es muy malo. Es importante conocer la Palabra de Dios y asi podremos distinguir cual es la puerta correcta en la cual debemos de entrar. Te insto a que escogas la puerta angosta. Esta puerta es Jesucristo. El es el camino a la vida eterna. No va a ser facil pero tu destino sera estar cerca de Dios por la eternidad.
